Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

Ok so i just opened up the botton of my 2000xl to put in more ram. and i noticed that inside the mpc where the in and out put is and record in and out, it looks like it had been melted a little bit. does anyone know what would cause that?

in wouldnt be from the input wires some how?

Nah I doubt that unless they caught on fire and went into the MPC.

k cool, is there somewhere, where i can get replacement in and outputs. im looking on mpcstuff but cant find em. you know?

That's gonna be tough try VST Service. Depending how messed up your shit is it's gonna be hard to fix possibly.

if vst dont have what you need try to dig for the parts at radioshack and do it yourself. but vst should be able to fix it
