do anyone know if a pc cd-rom drive will load my sample to the mpc use the scsi slot. if so how

I'm pretty bad when it comes to figuring out stuff like this but if you have a mixer you can just connect the 'Line Out' of your PC to the input of your mixer. Then connect the Output of your mixer to the 'Record In' on the MPC.

Then just play the samples on your PC and sample them into your MPC from there. Well thats what I do :D

I guess this is a waste of time if you don't have a mixer though!

If your cdrom drive is a scsi one and you have turned of the notification flag on insert cd on the pc (if you don't do that then your pc wil try to start reading from the cdrom when ever you put in a cdron thus causing a confilct with the mpc) then that should normally work I do that to read data from an esi sample cd via the cdrom drive in my pc on my esi-32 sampler.
