my mpc2k don't "see" ATAPI device ..

my mpc2k don't "see" device- ATAPI. i try connect addonics AEIDEDMD4B card reader with 1gb CF card on 1.2 OS but not working!!!
i try on two another cables, two another CF set jumper on master and still nothing.
anybody can help me??

has this device been tested b4? therer a quite a few that are incompatible.

^ yeah what nanoloop said. Also, make sure your connections are secure. the first time i installed mine i experienced the same problem but then i went back and double checked my connections and it worked.
