Help with 2000xl install!

I have a mpc 2000xl and i just got a new tact button for under the Cursor. And i was wondering if anyone could explain how to install it?

the tact switch is soldered to the main board on your XL, you will need to unsolder the existing tact switch then solder on the new switch you bought. Becareful with soldering on your XL because you can burn out the main board. I personally don't have enough experience with soldering so I would take it to an electronics repair and pay to get it done.

just use a low wattage iron and youll be fine. its not as hard as you think. but you do need to remove the main pcb to do it. also pic up a cheap desolder tool. it will make removing the old switch alot easier. and always make sure you are grounded and your mpc is unplugged when you do the job.
