do u think the likes of kanye wesy,heatmakers, just blaze etc,use these sample discs you can buy with drum kicks,snares ,etc on?

It's possible,but they probably mixed and/or tweaked them,they weren't used straight off the cd(s)/disk(s).

Yeah, but I have heard some straight 808 sounds being used alot w/o layering. But songs putt together well enough that you wouldn't care they were 808's. But I'd think the majority of peeps layer.
