8 out volume.

just installed the 8 outs in my xl,and i noticed an overall volume difference between them & the main outs,the main outs were a lot lower even when i pushed up the main output levels via the software.wuz up?

I told you they are unbalanced. If you want them louder send to Forat for the boost mod.

It's the 8-out board which is louder, not the main outs.

Or did you mean a custom boost mod for the main outs?

Main outs are Stereo. 8 outs aren't stereo so how are they louder? Yes you can get the 8 outs boosted and the Main Outs boosted.

i mean that the 8 outs on my xl are louder than the main outs.i dont have my mixer set up yet,(im moving)so i can only check output with my head phones.

When I had my 8 outs I used Mono samples to play thru them so maybe I am wrong but mine wasn't louder then my Main Stereo outs.

Mine are too. Nothing to do with stereo, mono, balanced or unbalanced. They just put out a lot of juice. I would not get them boosted, I'd rather have them attenuated if anything. But it's not a problem, I just tame the level in the mixer of the mpc.
