S950 and 2000xl question

Im thinking of investing in an s950, but i was wondering whether or not it was a wise or even safe move to rest my 2000xl on top of the s950. Would it damage either machine to do so?

any advice would be great.

why not get some sort of stand with a rack built in or make one. the rack rails are readily available.
