Looping bass samples

I'm trying to loop a bass sample so it is a continuous tone. but when i try it "hiccups" I can't think of a better way to describe it but it isn't a continuous tone. Does anyone know of a way to get one continuous looped tone?

sometimes if you put a tiny bit of attack at the start of the loop it can avoid an onvious hiccup and just make it more less audible. more like a little bump rather than a click. hope that might help

Bass has a continuous frequency range. All you have to do is to pick just a cycle in the very beginning and you can have a nice, constant bass sample looping. But, be aware that you have to pick the start and end of the cycle at where the curve meets the zero point, i.e. where the curve passes the middle horizontal line.

Sometimes I'll move a couple of cycles within the note and make a selection of a few cycles within Loop mode. Maaaaaaaddddd easy to do. Also try it with other sounds to see what you get.......

if you do not have a constant pitch, you will have issues. otherwise, try to loop a smaller section, possibly moving the start point as well

try zooming in on the start and end points of the wave. find "empty spaces". thats usually works 4 me...
