Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

what kind of rca jacks do i need to sample digitally?

was just using analog, recently upgraded to digi, but now i aint gettin sound when i sample. do i need special plugs? what the deal?

i know this is a very elementary thing i'm dealing with but i just dont understand?

Digital is a totally different connection - S/PDIF I/O. You need the 8 outboard tho. Without it you dont have the option

yeah i gots the outboard, but what do u run from the i/o to whatever i want to sample?

ok i think i understand. s/pdif is a type of rca jack?

s/pdif is the interface. The connection the mpc uses is Coaxial Rca
