whaz up?......welcome to the MPC forum......ok now you have a 2kxl(please don't ask us how to turn it on...lol)....just joking but how long have you been beatmaking b4 you made your purchase?...what was you last/first setup?.....i hope the MPC speeds you up more than slow you down and again welcome to the forum

i'd be mad, thats the first thing id want to change but thats just me. but your right, everyone knows who you are so it aint that big of a deal.

thanks, ive been producing stuff for 5 years, but i never use samples. im using the mpc to sample live drums staight in, ive run out of beats on my synths (in my ability- im sure theres more), and sample my own synth sounds.
setup is, yamaha rm1x, sequential circuits six trak, microkorg, guitar (from a friend- warm space rocky stuff) bass (flatmate), recently added cubase, and various little things to help on the way (like copicat for delay) generally all based around the rm1x sequencer.
to wrap it up, its electronica with hip hop sort of beats, sounds horrible, but i think it works okay. looking forward to using the mpc.
