You can't burn your beats straight from the MPC. You can't either extract them, in any form. All you can do is record them, either all together from the main 2 outs, or track by track if you have the 8-outs option. Don't forget that you need either a PC or a hardware recorder to record them.

Since you seem new to the whole mpc thing, here is some info that might be useful...

You can also record track per track without the 8 out board.

I always put my main samples on track 1
hihats on track 2
snares on track 3
kicks on track 4
etc etc

for every sequence.

That way you can just solo the track you want to record eg hihats really easy.

Best to sync your mpc and daw via midi so you won't have to align all those different recordings manually.

Browse around the boards cause there are numerous topics on this issue...

2000/ and XL won't burn a CD....you need to find a way to RECORD your sh*t...ADAT, TAPE, strait to CD, computer w/audio recording software, etc...from there you're all G.....on the other hand the 4000 can burn, so can the 2500 i think...also the roland mv-8000 or whatever its called..

lol
