fresh newbie MPC 2000xl user here.
purchased an MPC2000XL MCD with a built in 9.1gb HD - at first the hardrive wasn't appearing as a scsi option - upon opening it up that neither the power or signal cable were plugged into it (still waiting for a response from the eBay seller as to why this is the case. After fixing that and putting it back together, I checked out the media on the HD, loaded a couple of programs, which got disk errors as files could not be located, i figured that the samples may have been deleted and thought nothing of it.
I went back to the first program to play with those samples, only 10 out of 64 loaded with more disk errors. I turned the unit off and came back to it, now the HD isn't reading at all, not even to let me format it. Right now I don't have a suitable HD casing to format via PC - anyone seen anything like this?
