my mpc cursor Down wont work proprely

i got a 2kxl mcd.

and i been making beats on it for a minute but the machine is mint. my down Cursor Just wont work. i have to put hella pressure on it for it to connect. hit me up let me know.

You can always take the top cover off and check your connections to the board.
It is mint - meaning it's new and on warranty (then forget the above and send it to the retailer) or is it just excellent condition but second hand ? Quite a difference.

If it's not the connections it could be gummed up. If that's the case just take a qtip and LIGHTLY dampen the tip and clean the contact switch(The red button under the cursor plastic cover).If that doesn't work(didn't for me,but it has for others) you need to replace the contact switch which requires some mild soldiering. You can pick up the switches by emailing vst or at mpc-stuff for like $5 or less.

yea its prob the red contact under the button. find someone that can solder and have it fixed.

same as me fam...i gotta mpc2000xl and ive got exactly tha same problem.......gonn aget my bro to solder that after ive tried cleaning it up a lil 2 see if it works......i hope its an easy thing to do?
