HOW CAN U PLAY THA PADS SO THEY DONT CLASH LIKKA MUHF***A !

on my mpc500 i had b4 the 2000xl u could play one pad and it wud cut off the previous pad...u know so u dont get multiple pads clashing & shit .....but ive only just got a 2000xl had it a few days,& b4 you say i cant find it in that big ass manual...
how is this dun fam?

Program -> Change Poly to Mono -> Open Window -> Assign at most two pads that you like to be muted...

I've had that problem b4 too

it doesnt seem to be working....ive tried opening the window and when i do it hasnt got any pads assigned in the bottom two like the manual shows....any other info ive prolly missed ?

thats because you need to assign what pads you want it to mute.

damn... so theres no way to mute after any pad? that sux, gonna hold me back.
