mpc 2000 help sounds clashing

my mpc 2000 and korg triton are hooked up the mpc 2000 is the master and all my korg triton sounds goes thru with no problem but when i load up my mpc drums to combine with the triton it mess up the triton sound then both of the sounds clash on one pad. help

maybe midi channel overlap between pgms on both machines.

maybe local control is doing that, check out the local control on the triton and mpc.

maybe you need to be in program mode on the triton, set up a midi type track on the mpc.
