Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

whts up guys. im tryin to get wav. files from my laptop to my scsi external HD. i gotta mpc 2k classic. how can i achieve this? sample from my laptop to the mp then just save to the hd?

That is one way and definitely the easiest one to do it.

The other would be to connect your external hard drive to laptop. But since it's SCSI, I'm not quite sure how to do it. With desktop PC it's easier I think.
Maybe others will add to this.

It depends what your SCSi connection on the external DH is.
If it is a HD-50 SCSI connection Image, you can get this SCSI to USB cable to hook up the HD to your laptop:

If it is a Centronics or a DB25 SCSi connection like on the MPC2000 it'll be hard to do without getting a bunch of gender changers and adaptors to make the connection.

The easiest way is like you said... sample to MPC then save to SCSI HD.
