mpc midi link to reason????

how to?? i have a midi to usb for my computer and a mpc 2000xl...how do you get them working together?

It depends what exactly you want to do.
Hook them up together so they can sync or just play sounds from reason with mpc.
Either way - you have to connect the midi cables first, which you already did I suppose.
Check both manuals, they will clearly state how to do it. PDF's are good way to find it quick.

I hooked my MPC 2000xl to my Korg Kontrol 49 and it sy nc's well. I just dont understand how to sync it with reason.

if you want them to run in sync, connect a midi cable from midi out on the mpc to midi in on your computer. turn midi clock or midi time code on the mpc to master, and make reason the midi slave.
you can then hit play on the mpc and reason will start and stop exactly the same.

i just have usb on my laptop how will it work then?

buy usb to midi interface cable. they go for cheap
