replacing the play/start button on an xl

anyone every had this problem? i saw that mpcstuff sells the play button by itself, but after taking the whole thing apart i saw that it's a piece of plastic with two other buttons connected to it. (the play and stop buttons)

how/why would they sell just one when it's connected to the other two?

any help would be greatly appreciated.

thats just how they install them at the factory. just cut the bad button off of the row and install the new one. each button has its own mounting slot. its just easier for production to install all three attached together.

brilliant. thank you very much for the information. i was thinking that when i pulled the thing apart and looked at it. good to know this won't be a major isuue.
