After you've sliced the pgm just go into pgm menu and put the slice pgm in whichever drum bank you want it in 2, 3 or 4.

if i want to slice a sound into a different bank. ill go shift 6, and be in say "drum 2" for example, then select the sound and slice it and itll slice into "drum 2" its going to slice and assign to whatever program youre in so select before slicing.

i think a new pgm generate by the mpc will go to drum1 by default. maybe if you are on drum2 while making the program it will assign to that one without altering the other drum kits loaded. not too sure but sometimes it does this and sometimes it doesnt.
