Mpc 2000 + Ableton Live 5 Question

Im new to this site
but I was wonderin if any one is fumiliar with this software.
how can i get the sound from the mpc
to live 5 ??

Take your L/R audio out from the MPC into the Mobile Pre.

Now open Live and make sure you have the Mobile Pre configured in Live's preferences.

Now on an open Audio track in Live you need to 'arm' the tracks record button and make sure you have sound coming into the track. You may need to select how the audio is being played; check the input/output section on the track.

One thing that will make it easier is setting the tempo in Live to the same tempo as your MPC. now you can arrange and loop all your recorded bits.

The other method is to sync Live to the MPC or vice versa through MIDI.
