help with my 2000xl!!!!

ok so i have a mpc 2000xl. and i am wondering what is going to be the best way to do finished projects mixed and all. Right now im just doing my beats on the 2000xl and then recording into pro tools on a audio track. but doing that i cant mix and master the beats i can only eq them. So im wondering what is the best rought for me to go so that i can do my beats all on the mpc then mix and master them and then convert them to mp3. Is there other equitment that i need to be looking at? or is there a better way to set up my mpc with pro tools so that i can mix and master. thanks for the help guys.

Did you make a search on board ? There are plenty of topics that cover this subject in details, really. No point writing the same stuff all over again.

record each track in seperatly, or simeltanesously to there own discrete track ,if ya got enough inputs.

get the 8 output expqansion board for the xl its like 100 somthin and u can export each track sepretally

if you have the mbox you'll have to record each sound one at a time or split it two at a time. this is what i do. or if you have the 002 you can record 8 at a time. i wish i had the 002
