Word @ phatz; I see where Jono comes from with this question but I'm afraid that that is impossible; the mpc2000(xl) is not able to render a song to a wav file (Just imagine the size of that wav file and where would you save it 
) The only solution is indeed to register your song on a pc/harddisk recorder which can render it for you to a wav which you can burn to a cd if you feel like it.
