I just picked up a Roland DJ-70 and would like to know if there is a way to hook it up to my MPC and send samples out through midi into the DJ70. Any help is appreciated

The only way to send samples through midi is sample dump. But it's very slow and you don't want to bother with it I suppose. I never tried it myself anyway, a time waster.
Audio cables are more effective option here. Just hook them up together.

why dont you just leave the samples on the 70 and control them with the mpc through midi?

I dont have any sample discs for the DJ70. I think Ill have to sample everything into the DJ70 and then back into the MPC

Both units that you've mentioned - mpc and dj-70 support midi, so I don't think it's necessary to record each sample to mpc when you already have them in dj-70.
