Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

Im making a drumroll and it doesnt sound good with the swing,its hard to get it tight.How do i quantize it to the maximum?and turn of the swing

Swing is not something that is turned on when you record a sequence, you apply swing to a sequence or part of a sequence by positioning in the main screen on the timing and pressing the open window. quantizing is done when you have quentizing selected upon recording a sequence.

you can just highlite it and turn it till it say off then you can record with no quantize, but i think to make a drum roll you would need this on to double on the drum hit.

Hilight "TIMING" rotate the whell and turn it off. Note repeat when recording the roll.

Swing by default is not applied when you record sequences. Just like pt3r said.
