how fast of a scsi cd rom drive, will 2x cut or is there a minuim i should be looking to get

another thing, on ebay i notice people post scsi drive that they say are for the mpc, all i need is a scsi drive with the right cable correct for pc

i use a second hand Plextor SCSI drive...i don't know how fast it is,and when i bought it i did know if it was the right one for my old 2 k.....but it works fine for many years ,so i think that there is no special model for the MPC, you just need to buy a SCSI Cd-rom drive with the good wire which is 25 pin for the 2k and 50 pin for the XL.....hope this will help you....peace man.
