Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

i am tryna hook my mpc up to my comp so i can record my stuff. i have cool edit pro and a soundblaster live sound card. my question is what cable do i need to connect these? a link would be great.

1st. look at your soundcard..........what type of plug does it have
2nd. look at the back of the mpc........what type of plug does it have

3rd. Ask yourself questions like this before you post.......a lot of things are common sense..........and try the search feature......it does work

yeah i was just wondering if it had a certin name, becasue i dont know the name of the sound card plug. i know the mpc is 1/4

mpc audio out to soundcard audio in.
if your soundcard has got a midi in socket you can link up the midi to it aswell and sync your mpc up with cooledit. :D

homie, i have the same set up

1/4 inch to 1/8 inch

you could even go crazy and get 2 1/4 inch into 1 1/8 inch for the left and right channels.

or you could just convert them to stereo sounds in cool edit.
