Data wheel not working

Just purchased it on ebay. I added the other 16 megs of memory. (took two attempts to get it correct) but now when i turn it on. I noticed my data wheel spins, but the numbers dont change. Im a beginner with the mcp2000xl. Whats going on with this.

you probably need a new rotory encoder. you can get it for like $7 at mpcstuff.com but you got to know how to solder to put it in.

Oh!Ok! Thanks for replying to my issue. I figured it might be something i did wrong in my attempt to add another 16 megs of memory.
