Tracking 2kxl to Cubase LE via Midi

ok im sure there's alot of people wanting to know this same thing.
so i'm using usb midisport UNO connected to my PC from my mpc. in-1 and out-A.
I also use an alesis mixer 8 through line-in/line-out on my PC.
can someone give me a step by step instruction on how to track my beats in perfect sync using this set-up? your replies will be greatly appreciated.

This is an example for protools. If you think about whats going on in the setup you will probably be able to figure it out. This is an example of using protools as a master, meaning you hit record and it automatically plays the MPC. So if you have to record multiple time it keeps the timing.
