A friend of mine just called because he doesn't have any internet at the moment. He bought a card reader from VST but it doesn't work. I don't have much details but he's running OS 1.14 and when he installed the card reader, the mpc doesn't see DEVICE : ATAPI.
If I remember correctly, I installed my card reader (IISDMC or something) with OS 1.14 and later upgraded to OS 1.20 just to be able to have 1GB partitions instead of 512MB.
Anybody here had similar issues with card reader kits from service centers?
I told him to upgrade to OS 1.20 and see what gives...
