SICK! was just about to buy a zip drive as well.
Just noticed it says:
PLEASE NOTE
1. A flash card MUST be present in the drive at switch on, otherwise the MPC2000XL will NOT recognise the drive, even if you put a card in after switching on.
2. You should NOT change the cards while the MPC2000XL is switched on (i.e. HOT SWAP).
Is that normal - can the other card readers do a hot swap and stuff?
edit: Yeah seems the rare IISDMC drives do let you hot swap:
- Card can be inserted/extracted dynamically without shutting down the system (Hot-Swapping).
