I dont know if any of you have seen the used mpc 2000 on mpc stuff. its got max ram, 8 outs, black pads, new screen and new casing for $630. Im thinking its a good deal because the new screen isnt gonna die on me any time soon and its already got the 8 outs and ram. what do you all think?

think its a fair deal.....just add the price of an 8out board and ram and screen to the price of a used 2000.....but,staying calm and waiting for a bargain always made me happier

Sounds too good to be true. Thats like £315. I paid £350 for my stock 2000 so it sounds like you''ve found yourself an absolute bargain.

i picked up a used mpc 2000 off ebay a few months back for 250 it needed some things fixed...630 is decent considering youd pay $400-$500 for a used 2000 in good condition plus about $170 for a new screen and about $200 for the 8 outs. do keep an eye open tho there are deals out there.

Yep, that's a good deal cause you're saving yourself from the risk of getting an "almost" working 2kc.

Lately, I've been buying old equipment, and none of it is working 100%, but the only guys that did sent me a refund were a serious Vintage store from Belgium who sold me an s950 for 300 bucks (looked like a steal but it did end up 150 bucks cheaper after the refund).

With such old gear, you should be after working ones and not the bargain ones. You won't regret it later.
