Ok, so I go to the track and I select load.

I select the sounds I want to load and I assign to a pad of my choice.

However, Once I go back to the main screen and hit the pad, the sound is not there...

But when I hit the sample button, the sounds I selected from the load screen are showing up in the sample list, but their not playing on the pads I assigned them to.

what am I doing wrong?

After you load it,
the sample has a sack put over its head, earmuffs put on,
is forced into an orange jumpsuit and has its hands handcuffed behind its back.
It is then bundled on a plane and flown to a secret torture base in the Indian Ocean.

Oh wait, maybe that was in Tron...

you gotta create a program and (if you want) a keygroup...

Feline, hahahaha.

Well he has to already be working with a program if he assigned the pads, but you need to read up on parts and how multis work. There is an extra layer on the 4000 that isn't on the other MPCs. (HINT: assign that program to part 1 on the multi. HINT2: you can also do this from the main screen)
