I'd like to hear some opinions from people using usb-midi interfaces.
Occasionally I'll use my PC for Reason/soft synths etc.. but I've never invested in a decent usb controller (right now all I got is an ekeys 37) and the thing that drives me crazy is latency.
Sure it's correctible with quantize after the notes have been written in but I find it sucks all the expression and feeling out of a take. How you could use an MPC with Reason in a live situation makes me think you'd need one hell of a soundcard, or is this not the case? Can this issue be resolved with just a decent usb-midi interface?
