Friend has triton I have xl how do we work?

Hey you guys my friend has a korg triton and I have an xl and we want to do work with these bad boys but after we connect them together and all that how do I hear his triton through my xl and then through my speakers? How do you make it so when im making drum patterns while recording he can kick in with some fresh sounds through his keys? thanks you guys.

mpc midi in/out -> triton midi in/out.

mpc audio out -> mixer audio in.
triton audio out -> mixer audio in.

mixer out -> amp/receiver/powered monitors..
