So, I made the best beat of my life, and ironically, i can't access it. I use an external zip. when I scroll to the sequence - sequence 96 (dont ask me why) an error appears. THe program and sounds load and so does all sequences and songs, but when I scroll to the sequence I need the ERROR appears. Anyone had this problem. The one to help me with the correct info gets free drum sounds!

couple ?'s. how big is the file? and have you tried to reinstall your os to fix a possible glitch with your hardware?

Sounds like you might have no extra memory for the mpc to function correctly, get rid of the unused samples.....

That will give the RAM some breathing room. Everything the mpc does while it's on is in RAM, if the RAM is full the mpc cannot function correctly.

i just had this happen to me and man it sucks. glad i tracked my beat before i shut everything down. after like 10 years this was the first timei got this crash. i got os 1.2 and original flash drive. i didnt have my sample memory filled up at all. made a whole song w/ about 40 sequences and saved the whole thing. when i tried to reaload it it would load up the .all seq files ok but if i go into song mode, scroll, or start play i get the error/crash screen. seems like the sequences are corrupted..tried to resave them and load them and same problem. only other guess is that the type of flash card i use or hot swapping it could have messed up the data? get the same errors even if there are no samples loaded so cant be that problem. hope this doesnt happen again.
