trying to load as normal but...

i keep getting a "not ready"error messages, kinda happened all of a sudden, any ideas anyone?

Can you be more specific and describe it, give a few more details as what exactly is giving you this error message ?

Are You Using a Zip drive????

ive had that happen to me but i just didnt have the memory card inserted all the way. it was just barely out, probably not your problem but sometimes its simple shit like that.

If it's a zip drive - double check the connections on data cable and make sure it's connected to the power source. Plus - check if the SCSI ID matches with the one you are trying to use in the MPC.
