midi thru box,controler question

I have my mp 2kxl hooked up to a 8 out midi box to control 7 modules, and i control them with a synth.My question is how do i add another midi thru box and seperate controler to my mp. can this be done? I like the sequencing on my mp, and don't want to use computer sequencing, but i need to hook up a lot more synths. can anyone help me out? any tips or tricks?

gule them together and mess with the wires. 2 8's into one 16?

Better to use these rather than a unit's midi thru.

It would be nice,i just got another 8 thru box,but both of them max out at 16 total midi devices, 8 for channel A, and 8 for channel B.So theres a total of 16 channels that i can't access
seems like a waste 2 me.How hard is it to modify them? Have you ever heard of any one doing it?not that i could it, i barely know how to use the thing HA HA HA.
