I am thinking of going through SCSIforsamplers.com because I am having difficulty finding external zip drives.

I was thinking of getting the external hard drive, then I am seeing these jaz drives.

I wanted to get my floppy removed at some point and add a zip but for now should I go with the hard drive? I can't save any work. Its very frustrating because i'm trying to learn this machine inside and out.

DJ EVS That beat you gave me has been done, don't have the net the song turned out to be a classic. Get at me kid!

Ok, Jazz vs HD.

HD faster load times

Jazz more potentail storage

HD cheaper overall

Jazz....

It depends on what you want

A Jaz disk can hold more data, but they tend to mess up alot, do you want to have a bad jaz disk that loses 1 gig of good beats? I use a zip250 and never EVER had a problem and it's been like 3-4 years with it... a zip or a hard drive is more reliable. I'm trying to get a hard drive too to back up my zips in case, but like I said never had a problem with zips and I use 250 and 100mb disks.
