Sampling from Cd's to your Mpc....

Im a beginner at producing and I just bought the mpc 2000 which is pretty dope by the way. Im still figuring out and learning alot about it everyday but one thing is bothering though. Truth is, i dont want to be labeled as a one dimensional producer so i try different things. Im getting into sampling now and ive been sampling from the very little collecton of vinyl that i have (we dont have any records stores where im from). My question though is, is there a way to sample from Cd's and if so, How?

cmon man there HAS to be at least one record shop in Joliet. if not, hit up salvation army, goodwill, pawn shops, or anything like that.

i appreciate it, thanks everything work out and no, we dont have nothing anymore. we used to have a crow's nest here but they closed it down 2 or 3 years ago. But i'll hit up a pawn shop and goodwill, i didnt think about that

i found an awesome little piece of vinyl in the charity shop last week which was a "world of strings" type thing
I told the woman off for charging me £1 and said the prices in charity shops these days are extortionate !! (its tru though)

looked it up on the net and it sells for $25...Beaudy !

Me, I would bleed good samples, wherever they come from, I don't care..

thats crazy but i can relate. im a couple hours south of you & theres only two spots left. one of em just opened up last year too!

beware of those goodwill/salvation army spots though... its gonna be a bunch of crap. xmas records. firestone tires presents the us navy academy chorous. etc.

Sampling from anything but vinyl will destroy your MPC and void the warranty.

yeah sampling vynil or cd is ok but please do not SAMPLE MP3's
