I Got...

the MPC 2k XL ... and tryna save my work, with no laptop, no computer. i have a EXTERNAL CD DRIVE .. that i just got. if i get a BLANK CD, can i burn my work, from the MPC to the CD in the EXTERNAL DRIVE? if not, can you HELP me ?

you can do that save it to a floppy

You can't burn anything to the CD-Rom with a 2000XL only 2500's and 4000's can burn data to CD's for backup only.
What drives do you have in your machine?

Then you need to save to Zips.

lol naw dont go hard at him most of us dont know how to use equipt we buy but we learn them we all wanna do soemthing and start somewhere but yeah you cant burn so save it to floppy

What does the manual say about saving?
