Hama SmartMedia reader with a 2000 classic?

Hi

I came over an old external card reader for sale, but it is still quite expensive so i wonder if any of you guys know if it will work with a 2000 classic.

It is a HAMA SmartMedia drive parallel with Scsi cable, it takes smart media cards up to 128 mb

Parallel with SCSI cable makes no sense.

It's doesn't make any sense to me either but it is this type..

Maybe Hama 46925 is the correct name. I don't find any information about it on the internet, but i try to hook up some better pictures of it.
Anybody who have some experience with the product?

So that's obviously a parallel one. No way you gonna get this to work on an MPC. Why do you think it is SCSI?
