COMPACT FLASH MPC 2 MPC COMPATIBILITY?

Im thinking of upgrading the floppy on my 2000xl classic 2 a MCR and am curious if I can go back and forth between the CF on that and the 500.

hypothetically this would work fine but I saw another post where someone said they couldn't do it...

could the gurus confirm? sorry if this is mentioned elsewhere; I looked and didnt see it (other than off-hand)

i don't have mpc500, but i guess if you will use pc-formatted cards it should be no problem. to make it you either need to upgrade to os 1.20 on your xl (and use 1 gb cards), or use 512 mb (or less) cards (or format the 1 gb card to 2 X 512 mb partitions) if you don't want to go 1.20.

p.s. don't know about the programs compatibility, but it should be ok for your samples i suppose.
