About Mpc 2000

Hi everyone, I bought yesterday a Mpc 2000 and i have a question about it. How i put my drum sound in? I know that i need a floppy but when i put my drum on it ( in WAVE format) and i try to open in my MPC, there is no sound but i see the file. So what i need to do? A friend of mine tell me that i need a Zip Iomega but i want to be sure before buying anything.

If you load the sound you still have to assign it to a pad in the program menu.
