There's a review of the card in this month's Sound on Sound magazine.
I have had the Quattro for a while now, and that worked great for me as far as midi is concerned. I bet the 410 will work just as good, probaly better.

Really - I heard bad things while tracking the product in other mac music forums - midi jams etc. and I just wanted to see if any one else was rocking one.....

It always takes m-audio a while to work out the bugs. They release new drivers all the time, so most issues should be sorted by now.
There are similar interfaces released by Mackie and Lexicon. The Lexicon is nowere near perfect on a mac yet, and i haven't heard anything on the mackie yet.

Hello,

Personally I hate m-audio products. Also in my experience I have found it is better to have differnt interfaces for midi and audio. Just My opnion.

I'm not sure about firewire but, I hate MIDI thru the USB port because of latency and buffering issues and much prefer having either a PCI card or in your case since you have a laptop, use a serial port or your parallel port midi adapter and you can't go wrong. But like I said, I can't speak on firewire since I haven't used it...

respect...
