Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

Well, Ill be f**ked. Im trying to find a cable for my SCSI zip drive to my 2000 classic and can't find one any where. :(
Ive just bought an old parralel 25db male to 25db male lead hoping it would work but there can't be enough of the lines hooked up.
Has anyone got any ideas where to get one or do you have any spares you want to part with. Ive got tons of other SCSI cables to trade if you need em or a straight buy. ???

Im getting so frustrated with the floppy drive and need by zip on line soon.

Peace B

Not DB25 male to male there isn't.

For the XL there is, Its a 50 pin connector which is different to the 2000.

Any 2000 owners out there to back this up?

Ive just checked SCSI for samplers site and a parralel cable is the same as a scsi cable so something else must be wrong.
Did I read somewhere that there is a scsi fuse which can blow?

It worked OK when I tried a scsi card reader on there. Any ideas?

I couldn't run a db25 paralell with mpy mpc2000 & scsi zip so purchased a genuine scsi cabel and it worked fine, so I don't think that they are the same.

IMO you specifically need a SCSI DB25 Male to DB25 Male cable. There are usually quite a few for sale on eBay but are expensive at around £12
