MPC 2000 Problem Loading Files from Zip

Hey. I have a 250 MB Scsi Zip that just started malfunctioning one day. I load the .PGM without much problem, but when I try to load the .ALL it loads for a while and then goes to the screen where you can load individual sequences and freezes. I tried buying a new zip but I just realized I think I bought the wrong one since I can't set the termination or the SCSI # on the back. Can anyone help on why I might be having trouble loading from my old zip? Is it a problem with the Zip or the MPC? Any thoughts are greatly appreciated. Thanks.

1) the new zip you have is likely a parallel port zip and will not work...sorry
2) i had trouble with .ALL files on my old zip. generally i could not save or load them...i've heard of others having this problem with zip drives...i'd advise one of three things a) buy a new zip (SCSI) and try that b) save individual sequences, that usually works unless you go about making tons of seq's...or c) buy a mcdisk-2 card reader, they're about $100 and a f**k load more reliable.

me too... always had problems loading .ALL from iomega zip 100 scsi.
