Is this a common problem - MPC2000 Classic

Alright guys,

My bro is looking for an MPC2000 and has come across one which is going for a decent price, HOWEVER, there is meant to be a minor problem with the sound.

Apparently as the volume is turned up the actual sound output gets softer, and their is only output on longer samples, like bass-heavy kicks, loops etc. I'm lead to believe the headphone output is fine, its just the stereo outs.

Anyone heard of this before?

thats super weird man. i would just wait a little bit longer and get a fully functioning 2000.

Yeah I passed that advice on, but you know, kids and their money haha.
