saving problem

When I try to save a sequence, sometimes the mpc shows me a window with alot of numbers and above the function keys it says SEQ, RUN, STEP, MEMORY , when I'm in this menu of what I don't know what it is I'm stuck in it, the main screen button doesn't work anymore, so the only thing I can do then is shut down the mpc completely, without saving the sequence, so all my work is lost, who knows what this menu is?

And what to do to avoid this strange menu?
