trunxlucent "Can u use an internal pc zip drive, to install into an mpc, just like you would (how I did) a floppy drive" YES. "If so anyone know how hard it is? Not hard at all.

upgraded to a 100mb zip

but i have noticed slower boot time......

yo - im not even going to get serious making beats till i just fully upgrade my mpc..........cd rom is next & then the 8 - outs

i shld have done more homework before i bought it or else i would've just waited and bought one that was all hooked up & ready to go

but yo if i can do it anybody can......

the boot time is the MPC detecting your scsi device.

its not a scsi device

its an internal ide zip

same thing tho right? has to detect it like that when it boots?

ok - i mean i aint sweatin' it - i just figured it was something like that

but trunx you can do it man........it took me about an hour - i took my time to make sure i was following all the steps precisely

i found the terminal block at radio shack - the exact same type used in the tutorial on this site
