when i originally used to tinker with fruity loops i was able to download a version with sounds ( packs in fruity loop terminology) i was also able to get sounds through various other file sharring networks. these sounds worked fine in fl and are in wave format but when loaded to floppy and brought to my mpc 2000 it doesnt recognize it even though its in wav format. what am i doing wrong?

I don't know why, but sometimes MPC doesn't recognize some wave-files. Maybe it is about codecs etc.

the mpc 2000 and 2000XL will only recognize PCM .wav formats in 16bit, 44.1 kHz and MPC .snd files(which these are made by the MPC)

to convert your samples... download DBPoweramp converter

Has nothing to do with codecs.
